The successful pair of ‘Thiruvilayadal Aarambam’ is set to do another film together.
Dhanush and Shriya will pair up for the remake of Telugu super hit movie ‘Arya’, featuring Allu Arjun. The movie will be produced by Gemini Lab.
Gemini Lab has roped in Dhanush in the lead role. When the producers were in search of the heroine, Dhanush suggested the name of Shriya. Gemini Lab agreed to this suggestion and signed up the hot girl.
Balasekaran, who directed ‘Love Today’, will direct the movie.

Unidentified armed men shot and killed a paramilitary personnel belonging to Thamil Makkal Viduthalai Puligal (TMVP) Wednesday night 7:05 p.m. at Siththaa'ndi in Ea'raavoor police division in Batticaloa district.
The victim is identified as Sithiravel Kalaichelvan,30, residing at Murugan Koyil road, Siththaa'ndi.
Kalaichelvan employed at the TMVP office of Chengkaladi was on visit to his grand mother living in Siththaa'ndi colony area when he was shot dead.
Ea'raavoor police recovered the body of the victim and handed it over to Chengkaladi hospital for post mortem examinations.
Siththaa'ndi is located 27 km northwest of Batticaloa.

A bomb explosion Thursday around 10:30 a.m on Aadiyapaatham Road in Thirunelveali, Jaffna, killed four civilians and injured at least fifteen. The injured were rushed to Jaffna Teaching hospital. There were no SLA troopers or vehicles at the spot when a Claymore mine attached to a bicycle exploded, civilians in the area said.
Three of the dead civilians were identified as Ponnuththurai Krishnakumar, 32, Koa'ndaavil, Jaffna, Sankarappillai Muththukkumar, 60, from Urumpiraay South, Thirunavukkarasu Pagnchaadcharanathan, 44, Koandaavil East.
The fourth body, in a charred and disfigured state, is yet to be identified.
The bomb, believed to be a Claymore mine which was attached to a parked bicycle, exploded with a deafening noise.
The explosion took place when people traveling on the nearby Palaali main road were standing on the sides, ordered by Sri Lanka Army (SLA) troops who had suspended all traffic on the main road. Aadiyapaatham Road is rarely used by the SLA.
