Vamsam Tamil Movie Story:
A regular village tale, the story is set on the backdrop of two villages and their traditions. On one side there is the hero (arulnidhi) who is the only son of the family but he is kept away from the usual violence and other friction activities by his mother (anupama). On the other side is the villain's camp (jayaprakash, rajkumar) who are rivals to the hero's family and they are seeking revenge for a feud which has taken place years ago. The story takes a turn when the hero meets a bubbly and brave girl (sunaina) and love happens between them. However, the girl has a story behind her and that brings the twist. What happens from there forms the rest of the tale.
Vamsam Tamil Movie Presentation:
The director has come up with a typical mirror of what happens in the rural belts. While the presentation was okay, the narrative was better. The dialogues were entertaining and witty, the script was neat and the screenplay was better. Background score was good but songs were not upto the mark. Cinematography was apt. Editing was crisp. Costumes were suitable and the art department was good. Arulnidhi was alright but he needs to work on his body language and expressions, he has got potential. Sunaina was bubbly and chirpy so she scores the brownie points. Jayaprakash was perfect. Rajkumar was impressive. The other highlight was the performance from Kishore, Anupama was apt, Ganja Karuppu was hilarious.
