Agam Puram Movie Story:
Shaam leaves his mother and sister in his native place and comes with his uncle to Chennai at his teenage. Shaam joins Martyn who's major business is to sell drugs in the society. After Martyn's death, Shaam tries to take control of the business but as he faces enormous problems from the other drug sellers, Shaam decides to run his own drug business in Chennai.
Shaam purchases valuable drugs from Malaysia and Spain and starts his own drug business. Then he goes to his native and bring his mom and sister to chennai. Meanwhile the department of police appoints special officer Anandraj to handle the case and the criminals.
Shaam's mother comes to know about the kind of business he is dealing with. What happens next is the movie. Debutant director Thirumalai has taken a good subject deal with but lacks the touch of experience. The director has tried hard to give the audience a action package.
Meenakshi is very glamorous in Agam puram than her previous movies. She also looks pretty good in sarees also. The background score could have been more effective as it is an action movie but the songs are quite good.
Agam Puram Movie Presentation:
Shaam is no where lesser in giving realistic performance, he has done justice to his role but his stardom is lacking in choosing right scripts. To reach the heights it’s better for him to go with good scripts.
Meenakshi played the love interest of Shaam, but her role is just like a passing cloud as she is seen in few scenes.
Director Thirumalai has given his best but fails to make any impact to the audience.
Music rendered by Sundar C Babu was completely a let down for the film.
On an outlook Agam Puram doesn’t make any appeal at the box office. This is going to be another let down for Shaam.
