Drohi Tamil Movie Story:
An action packed treat, the story is set on the backdrop of Royapuram in Chennai and here live two friends Samy (srikanth) and Karuna (vishnu). Samy is a Brahmin boy but he is rough and tough while Vishnu is a cool headed guy. Story takes a turn when they see their teacher (pooja) murdered by a local gangster. Their approach to police doesn't work so they end up killing that gangster. Eventually, they use their brains and are bailed out but Karuna puts the blame on Samy which ends up in bitter rivalry between both as they grow. Trouble deepens when Samy falls in love with Karuna's sister (poorna). On the other hand, there is Sruthi (poonam) who falls in love with Vishnu. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
Drohi Tamil Movie Presentation:
The director has come up with a predictable storyline but then it was his presentation and narrative that scores. The dialogues were good, the script didn't have flaws and the screenplay was breezy. Background score adds to the momentum and the songs were melodious. Cinematography was top notch. Editing was alright. Costumes were realistic and the art department was effective. Action sequences are appreciable. Srikanth is a revelation and he gives a fabulous performance. Vishnu is excellent. Purna looks hot and Poonam looks simply delicious. Both have set the screens on fire. Pooja did her bit effectively. Thyagarajan was decent.
Drohi Tamil Movie Conclusion:
The film relies mainly on the action sequences and also on the glamour quotient from the heroines. While the first half goes about with the laying of the plot, the second half reaches a new high with twists and turns. Overall, this is a film that will appeal to the commercial audience and to those who want a fast moving entertainer without much idle time. At the box office, this will be an above average grosser.
