Vande Mataram Tamil Movie Synopsis:

Vande Mataram is an investigative action thriller with superstar Mammooty and Tamil action hero Arjun in the lead, has completed shooting last year.

Vande Mataramis directed by T. Aravind, tells the story of a group of officers who go hunting for terrorists, who have been creating havoc in the Tamilnadu - Kerala border. Mammootty plays an officer in the Intelligence Bureau while Arjun plays a Superintendent of Police.

The film is a bilingual project, being made simultaneously in Malayalam with the title Vande Matharam. Produced by Pankaj film's Henry.

This patriotic action flick was made at a budget of Rs 14 crores.

Vande Mataram Tamil Movie Story:

Police Vs Terrorists: The theme has been taking its same place across the ages. Several of our heroes have got through such flicks fighting against the hundreds of terrorists either as a single-man army or in team. ‘Vande Mataram’ belongs to the latter one as Malayalam superstar Mammooty and action king Arjun team up for the mission of curbing down the terrorists’ activities.
A secret conference held by Prime Minister reveals that terrorists have hatched plans to devastate South Indian territories. Apparently, PM assigns South Indian Intelligence Bureau Officer Gopi Krishnan (Mammooty) to handle the operation. To work out the process in team, Gopi selects best police officials from various South Indian States that include Anwar Hussain (Arjun) from Tamil Nadu. Together, they decide to break down the plans, but get invited into the operation mission through a mysterious murder. What unfold next are the cat-n-mouse chases of two officers and the terrorist group.
To mark our verdicts on director Aravind T, he has been an extraordinary filmmaker over the ages with some best flicks in his career. Who can forget his splendid movies like ‘Oomai Vizhigal’ and ‘Senthura Poove?’ He has tried implementing some of the new-dimensioned techniques over the narration. Though the screenplay has been penned by producer Henry, Aravind has let his smartness revealed through the inclusion of latest technology like usage of Google, chips found at birds legs across Vedanthangal Birds Sanctuary and the biggest drama of 20 Years Time Travel is prodigious.
The first half has raciness due to various plots involved, but during the second half the pace drops down invariably. It’s all because the drama completely involves one-to-one investigation on terrorists.
Mammooty steals the show with his outstanding performance and Arjun as usual makes it appealing with his action packed role. Sneha doesn’t get much footage and reason involving her in the operation as terrorist’s daughter is a dim-witted idea.
Musical score by D. Imman is average and camera works by Vetri are commendable.
The film doesn’t boast more specialties. At few parts, it has some interesting elements and with a running length of 130mins, it deserves a watch once.
