Eesan Tamil Movie Story:
A well knit tale gone long, the story begins with a girl from the village (abhinaya) who comes to the city and in no time, becomes fashionable. However, her life takes a turn when a politician's son (vaibhav) casts his eye on her and rapes her. The girl is also killed. From there on, starts a revenge saga for the killing of the girl and in comes the honest and tough cop (samuthirakani) to investigate the matter. He is barred at all corners by the politician (azhagappan) but the cop doesn't give up. Who is the killer? What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
Eesan Tamil Movie Presentation:
The director has come up with a gripping storyline and while the presentation was impressive, the narrative was not that strong. The dialogues were intense, the script was moderate but the screenplay got elongated. Background score was catchy and songs were very non situational. Cinematography is the highlight of the film. Editing was poor and missed its mark in many places. Costumes were realistic while the art department was natural. Samuthirakani is a master performer, his screen presence, body language was excellent. Equally competent was Azhagappan as he made his presence felt. Vaibhav was the right choice for his role. Abhinaya was good. Aparna was average, Blessy was neat, Niranjan was natural, Nammo Narayana was adequate.
Eesan Tamil Movie Conclusion:
The film came in with a lot of expectations as the makers earlier came up with 'Subramaniapuram' and though the concept was good and the taking was nice, it was the length that played the spoilsport. The opening takes off brilliantly and the momentum is maintained till quite a while. However, it is the second half and the non situational songs that disturb the pace. Overall, the film is good in parts and if only it was trimmed, it could have caused a strong impact. At the box office, this could be an above average grosser.
